This is the first post on our blog, so the fair question is: who are you buying from? Here is the honest answer, and the reason our product list looks the way it does.
We are deliberately narrow
Most extract suppliers will happily quote you five hundred products. We list twenty-eight standardised extracts and a herbal catalog behind them — all in one category: food & medicine homology botanicals, the Chinese tradition of plants that are simultaneously foods and herbs. Astragalus, goji, licorice, monk fruit, poria, jujube seed — the botanicals that Western wellness brands actually formulate with, and the category where our region's supply chain is strongest.
Why narrow? Because depth beats breadth when your QA team asks questions. When you ask us for a ginkgo COA with ginkgolic acid data, or the difference between two astragalus polysaccharide assays, we can answer from the current production lot — not from a catalog page.
How we actually work
BotanicExtract is the export brand of Xi'an Yuanqingyuan Technology Co., Ltd. We are the authorised export sales representative working with a small group of GMP-audited extraction facilities here in Shaanxi province — at the northern foot of the Qinling mountains, where a large share of China's botanical extraction capacity sits. We do not claim to own a factory. What we do is control the specification, the testing and the documents, and take responsibility for what ships.
